Maintenance

Vehicle maintenance in combination with an excellent driver results in a safe, reliable and successful school bus service.

The Ministry of Transportation requires a minimum of a Level 1 Inspection and a Level 2 inspection on an annual basis. Attridge Transportation far exceeds this standard with 3 Level 1 inspections and 2 Level 2 inspections annually.

Maintenance Software

The preventative service program is guided by schedules and inventory maintained using software. Our flexible fleet software links; accounts, preventative maintenance, fleet cost, inspections and tire control with interfaces that allow parts management and ordering. The software permits the user to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports that schedule regular service from oil changes through safety inspections. The Preventative Maintenance Co-ordinator can then schedule, with the assistance of the Shop Foreman, mechanics and buses through the repair facility in order to ensure the highest level of repair and maintenance.
